Description: The Yamazaki Distiller’s Reserve is a refined Japanese single malt whisky with a delicate, complex character. Aged in Bordeaux, sherry, and Mizunara oak casks, it offers exceptional depth. Rich notes of red berries, dried fruit, and honey blend with hints of spice and oak. Subtle chocolate, coconut, and floral undertones enhance its elegance. The palate is smooth, delivering layers of sweetness, spice, and light smokiness. A long, refined finish lingers with vanilla, oak, and soft fruit. Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to unlock its depth.

Nose : The wine cask seems to dominate the nose here with strawberries and red fruit taking center stage. However, sitting quietly in the background is the incense from the mizunara, a hint of dried fruit from the sherry cask and a touch of coconut.
