Made from carefully selected vineyards in Catalunya, this iconic wine has stayed true to its incomparable personality since the first vintage in 1954. The rich spicy and blackberry aromas are combined with a forest fruit flavour and velvety tannins, softened by ageing for 6 months in American and French oak. We have made Sangre de Toro since the 1954 vintage. By now it is legendary, known for its quintessentially Spanish personality. A fruity and spicy blend of Mediterranean varieties (Garnacha and Carinena), aged in oak for 6 months. Alcohol Info: 13.5% Vol Pairs perfectly with stews, game, meat paellas and hearty, traditional cuisine.
Tasting Notes
"Picota" cherry red. Roasting notes with ripe black fruits and preserves. Smooth attack with round tannins on a base of strawberry and blackberry jam. Serving suggestions: Perfect with stews, game, meat paellas and traditional mountain cuisine. Serve at 18ºC.
