JODHPUR MANDORE
Jodhpur Mandore is made with a base of Jodhpur London Dry Gin, which has been blended with macerations of native Indian citrus fruits. The new gin is flavoured with fruits including bitter orange, calamansi and Buddha’s hand, a fruit noted for its fragrance. Bottled at 43% ABV, Jodhpur Mandore was created in honour of the Mandore Botanical Gardens, located on the outskirts of the city of Jodhpur in India.
Tasting Notes
The result is a gin with a dry and elegant nose - aromatic, intensely citrus aromas of lime and orange along with juniper and even a hint of berries.
On the palate this is full of flavour, with generous balsamic and citrus notes. Deliciously smooth, it coats the mouth well. The flavours of lime and orange zest come through, and an interesting other citrus note from the Buddha's hand fruit. Juniper is present, but balances and doesn't overpower the other flavours. The finish has a gentle touch of ginger and coriander with a little sweetness.
