Description: Bushmills 12 Year Old is a smooth, triple-distilled Irish whiskey with rich complexity. Aged in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, it develops deep flavors. Notes of dried fruit, honey, and toasted oak create a balanced, elegant profile. Hints of dark chocolate, caramel, and warm spice enhance its depth. The palate is velvety, offering a perfect blend of sweetness and subtle spice. A gentle nuttiness lingers alongside vanilla and rich malt. The finish is long, warm, and slightly oaky with a touch of sweetness. Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water.

Characteristics : Floral and fruity with a drop of pear and pineapple, and a distinct nutty.
Nose : Very very fruity. Peaches, bananas, mango straight off the bat. These then give way to the sherry influence with marzipan, raisins, malt and a hint of allspice.
Taste : It has a light, delicate mouthfeel. Very honeyed with cloves initially, like a cold ‘hot toddy’ then the fruit makes its appearance, caramelized banana, Seville orange zest, sweet malt with clove spice running throughout before notes of chocolate, raisins and star anise come to the fore.
Finish : The finish is medium, remaining sweet although with a touch of spicy European oak.
